Homemade Bourbon Cream Recipe

The combination of cream and Bourbon produce a flavor profile similar to Irish cream but with added depth and complexity. The bourbon cream is everyone’s super favorite, but the problem is that we only use up part of the bottle of bourbon cream from the store and wind up flushing most of it down the toilet before it goes bad. Therefore we decided to make a simple bourbon cream recipe this year to have a more manageable amount on hand for the holidays. It’s simple to whip up at home with your preferred Bourbon and store in the fridge for a luxurious after-dinner treat.
This particular bourbon cream recipe of ours is the perfect complement to coffee, root beer, or even on its own; it’s a delicious blend of American whisky and rich cream with touches of vanilla and agave for sweetness.

While bourbon cream can be found in most liquor stores, preparing it at home is far more convenient because you can add whatever flavorings you choose and regulate the sweetness level. The result will be a huge success because it is smooth and creamy with notes of chocolate, coffee, and bourbon spice.
